Shawnalynn Perron is a Portfolio Manager on the Perron & Partners team at Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. (“Cumberland Private Wealth”) in Calgary, following the merger of Perron & Partners Wealth Management Corp. with Cumberland Private Wealth in May 2018. Since 2011, she has served a significant base of Western Canada-based high net worth clients with a special focus on meeting the unique needs of each individual client and family.

Ms. Perron’s professional background and experience include equity research, business and strategy development, and investor relations. Her goal with clients is to deliver clarity and comfort in a process that can otherwise be overwhelming or uncertain for them in managing their wealth. To this end, she partners with clients to develop investment strategies and educate them as they and she make decisions together.

In addition to a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calgary, Ms. Perron holds the Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designations. Offered through the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors (IFEA), the FEA designation allows her to serve and meet the needs of high net worth families and business owners, with specialized knowledge on topics such as business family dynamics and continuity planning.
